The size of photos or images can become a burdon at times because it makes it impossible for you to send them by email or upload them on a website. If you did not know this by now we are here to tell you that you can change the size of the photo. There are a number of programs which we specially designed to change the size of an image. We are going to present you the easiest way to do this, by using the Google Picasa photo editor.

You can download this program directly from google because it is free. The beauty of this program is that it organizes all the photos in you computer and shows you the photos in an awesome way. You can use this program if you have Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 7. It is very easy to use and you can get it from the source which you will find at the bottom of the text. Here are the steps on how to resize your photos.

• At the very begging of resizing the first thing you have to do is choose the photos you want to resize.You begin this by opening Picasa and locate the photos you want to change, double click on the photo to make it appear in the viewer.

• The next thing you have to do is export the photos you want to resize: select File from the menu and look for Export to Picture Folder and click it.

• Now you have to change the location of the file because if save it in the same location Picasa will save it as default and you do not want that.

• Export the photo: you will have some fields which you have to modify. Write the size you want in the Box field, we recommend you to write 640 pixel for as smaller but still of good quality photo. If you want to eventualy print the photo not just use it on the internet you should resize it to 800.

• Now it is time to work with the quality of the photo. Our advice is to leave the fields as they are because when you are resizing like this the quality of the photo s almost the same.

• At the end you press the export button and you are good to go.
